While we’re still hot on the heels of Nike’s East vs West pack, let’s divert our attention to something along the same line. Vans jumps on the rivalry bandwagon and presents us with one of their own, using the Moda Hi.This newly developed model is a fusion of the classic SK8 Hi and the more fashiony Mountain Edition.
On this pack, LA’s Crooks and Castles rivals NY’s Acapulco Gold. Both bear stark contrasts in terms of color as well as fabrics. AG takes on a white/green color scheme and uses a mix of suede and leather on the upper while C&C takes on a black shade, using leather as well as epi leather.
But they won’t be out just yet as they’re scheduled for a March 2010 release.
