As part of a publicity stunt by adidas, a huge assembly of characters from the Star Wars phenomenon including Darth Vader walked along the busy shopping district Orchard Road and, especially more so ‘cos of the festive season, drew crowds of curious cam-whores and Star War fans alike.
But adidas didn’t just pluck this idea of having a costume parade outta nowhere. The entourage of storm troopers was concocted in a bid to create a hype around the adidas ZX8000 Darth Vader that will release next month. Even though an exact release date is still not confirmed, some retailers in obscure parts of the world already have them in stock. One dude here in Singapore has just gotten his pair and here are detailed pics of the shoes.
