Fans of the waffle sole should by now have heard about the OTW collection that screams style and exudes characteristics that reflects the emergent youth culture inspired by action sports and music etc.
Just last week, Vans celebrated the highly anticipated collection on the rooftop of the infamous Haas building at Downtown Los Angeles that was graced by celebs and the like, no less.
OTW is a collection that’s not about performance. It’s about individuality and the culture which surrounds the people who wear Vans. In todays cut and paste design age, style and creativity have somehow been swept under the rugs. Careful thought was brought into the development of each individual model while making sure to still stay true to its roots, that is the waffle sole, which the brand has been doing for 40 over years. The collection sees the use of highend leather and suede on top of clean cut silhouettes.
Let’s now take a look at the Alomar, Larkin and Frazier.
